MANCHESTER, NH – Two homeless women are wanted by police as accomplices in connection with an attempted robbery Jan. 4 that resulted in the shooting of accused would-be robber Michael Bontaites by his 65-year-old intended victim.

Manchester Police Detective Patrick Houghton announced on Thursday arrest warrants were issued for Amanda Gurley, 26, no fixed address, and Julie Lambert, 21, no fixed address, for their involvement in the shooting outside 640 South Porter St. on Monday night. Both are wanted for conspiracy to commit robbery. Gurley is also wanted for violation of bail conditions dating back to a September 2015 arrest.

Bontaites, 23, was hospitalized and charged with the attempted robbery. He will appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on January 14.

Police have arrested Zack Boyd arrested for unrelated charges on the night of the incident. Boyd was one of the four individuals in the vehicle when the attempted robbery took place.

Gurley is described as 5-foot-1 inches tall, 115 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Lambert is described as 5’01, 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Lambert also has a nose piercing. Both women are currently homeless and have no known address. Please contact the Manchester Police Department if you know the current location of the two wanted subjects.

Boyd, who is currently being held at Hillsborough County Correction on unrelated charges, will also be charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
